Frenchman Louis Jacques Daguerre demonstrated a photographic image of the French Academy received as a result of the action of iodine vapor on a polished copper plate coated with silver. Daguerre method, called from the name of the creator dagerotype allowed to obtain a correct picture, but only in one copy, since the image formed on the plate was immediately a positive image.
